Suess was the original skateboard partner
of skateboarding great Dave Dunkan. Jimmy
and Dave, with the help of the best local
skaters created T.R.T., a.k.a. Tierrisanta
Rocker Team, which made Jimmy and Dave San
Diego's "dogtown" boys. The first
skateboard ramp was built in front of Jimmy's
house when the boys were in 9th grade, they
called it The Wooden Wonder. Jimmy and Dave
were also caught hopping the fence and skateboarding
in the dark with flashlights in San Diego's
first skateboard park on Home Avenue the
night before it opened. |
